Creative Journey in the Magical World of Watercolor: An Inner and Technical Experience
This workshop, which will be held with Ahsen Küçükçalık, aims to explore watercolor with not only a technical but also an emotional approach. Activate your inner creativity and bring your emotional expression together with watercolor. While creating realistic paintings with basic techniques, principles and aesthetics, meet the fascinating world of watercolor, which is as destructive as the naivety of the water element in its fluid, transparent and luminous world.
Under the guidance of Ahsen Küçükçalık, the participants pushed the limits of realism and changed the audience's perception They will learn basic concepts ranging from choosing reference images, using style and technique to how to shape the final artwork so that it is more than the sum of its parts. He will also explore the relationship between realism and abstraction and learn the importance of both in creating Interesting and engaging paintings.
METHODOLOGY
While theoretical and practical information is given about material knowledge, watercolor technique and color knowledge, during the workshop Ahsen Küçükçalık will paint the same painting with the group and help the participants create finished works of art by watching and applying what they watch.
You will have ample opportunity throughout the workshop to ask your questions, receive individual criticism on your works, and unleash your creative potential.
As you work with the group, you will focus on your own inner creativity through a meditation practice and discover the power of expression with watercolor.

REQUIRED MATERIALS LIST
Materials will be provided free of charge to participants in the workshop. However, remember, you can further strengthen your personal expression by coming with your own materials.
1) Watercolor paper, 300gr, cold pressed and hot pressed (1 sheet each)
2) Watercolor, minimum 4 colors (black, cadmium Blue, cadmium red, cadmium Yellow)
3) Minimum 2 watercolor brushes (1 piece between numbers 10-12, 1 piece between numbers 3-4.
