"In astrology, Capricorn is depicted as a mermaid-like being—half woman, half fish—with goat horns. The upper part of her body, represented by a female figure with goat horns, symbolizes intellect, logic, determination, and the drive to reach the highest peaks, while the fish tail below the waist signifies the ability to descend into the deepest emotions and to navigate the dark, rich waters of the subconscious.
Exhausted by the constant movement between depths and heights, this being embarks on a journey to learn how to balance her dual nature. For she can neither remain solely in the sea nor fully belong to the land. When the time comes, she must rise from the depths of the ocean, leave her tail behind, and step onto solid ground.
Although the time she has spent in the ocean’s depths has granted her the ancient wisdom of Atlantis, her deepest desire has always been to ground herself and take root. And one day, when she comes to recognize and embrace these two aspects within herself, she learns to climb the highest mountain peaks whenever she wishes, and to lose herself in the ocean’s depths just as freely.
